UK producer Vanilla does a wonderful job of keeping the soul and story of each inspiration intact throughout the beat. In these MPC days it can be quite easy to drain the life out of any record you can filter through recording software, so it's always a pleasant surprise when you can bob your head to tunes that feel like a completed puzzle made up from the days when petrol didn't cost $5 a gallon.

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome stuff man, I love this so much.
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for posting this. All of it is awesome! Right up my alley, will be checking out more of this!
ReplyDeleteYour in a bit of a jazzy mood eh? This would have been great on disk or vinyl, the album was designed to be gapless and the tiny buffering gaps messed with that.
ReplyDeleteThis right here... is real talent. Pay attention to the names of each song and the order, because its telling a story in itself. LOVE THIS.
