Ah, the wait is finally over... Slugabed has returned to his Ninja Tune throne with a proper full release, Time Team, featuring layers upon layers of ethereal funk ready to saturate every pore of your soft, agape grey matter.
This release is a fair bit warmer and more inviting than his more assaulting (yet equally amazing) efforts, such as his Ultra Heat Treated EP of a couple years back. Don't let that fool you though, Sluga is still on the cutting edge of new sounds, and this serves to demonstrate the progression of his sounds and exploration of newer, smoother territory.
This release is available from a variety of sources which may interest you:
-3xLP edition w/ limited green bonus 12"
-CD + MP3 via Ninjashop
-Digital +2 bonus tracks via iTunes
I'll embed some preview tunes below, and if they stir your soul properly you should go to the Ninja Tune landing page for the official preview experience.
