XVI Records: V/A - Volume One

UK label XVI Records may be fresher than a newborn baby calf, but definitely isn't wobbling around on it's skinny legs like one. In the same vein as the Cadence Collective, their method of introduction involves releasing a compilation sampler that wraps up the essence of the label into a tidy package that lets you know what to expect from here on out.

In this case, it's a very well rounded collection of deep, forward thinking (and occasionally, unstoppably funky) music, perfect for the next time you're driving down a lonely road at night, or maybe just relaxing on your custom built cloud hammock in the ionosphere. Wherever you are when you listen to this, take a deep breath and ponder everything that has happened up until this point that has gotten you to this very moment.
